I LOVE BAKING, WALKING THE DOG, AND SPENDING MY SATURDAYS AT WEDDINGS.
At Gina B Photography, I approach every photoshoot with fresh eyes. One of the questions I'm often asked is what is my style or technique is for my photography. The truth is, every shoot is as different as my clients. Some are born naturals in front of the camera, and need little direction, while others need a bit more encouragement. I started Gina B Photography because I wanted to expand my horizons, meet all kinds of different people, and make beautiful images along the way. I'm proud to say I've done just that, and plan to continue to do so for many years to come.
Memory is very important, the memory of each photo taken, flowing at the same speed as the event. During the work, you have to be sure that you haven’t left any holes, that you’ve captured everything, because afterwards it will be too late.Henri Cartier-Bresson
PHOTOJOURNALISTIC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I am a photojournalistic wedding photographer. This means my goal for the day is to truly document all the best moments of your wedding. Does this mean I don't pose families or couples? Not at all! I'll help you pose in the most natural, beautiful way possible that will show just how radiant you are on your wedding day.
I grew up in San Jose, and got my photography degree in chilly upstate New York from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I got my first camera at 16 and have been shooting ever since! As a photographer, I shoot everything from families to products, but weddings are by far my favorite. Being a part of your "big day" is the highlight of my week!
I currently live in Oakland, California with my husband, dog, and cat. When not shooting, I can be found at the dog park, cooking in my kitchen, or exploring every wine bar in the city!
